TextCentric believes that by conducting research with universities, schools, publishers, government agencies, corporations and learning and training software vendors, it can create a superior middleware product.

The experience of modeling teaching and learning behavior and meeting publisher value-chain and security issues through TextCentric’s current activities will feed valuable data into the ECS. TextCentric will be conducting this research in a proprietary effort and will be building and modeling a variety of solutions.

In addition to self-funding, TextCentric will be soliciting research grant funding from NSF, NIST, and the standards bodies and will be working with academic and research departments within the Carnegie Mellon University and other leading institutions. TextCentric will also establish research roles with several publishers as the R & D process evolves.
